We are proud to announce that the iconic Royal Vauxhall Tavern will host Belinda Carlisle for a very special Drag event, raising money in support of her own co-founded animal charity ‘Animal People Alliance Kolkata’ – Their 3rd Annual UK Fundraiser.
The RVT and Animal People Alliance present an unusual and fun competition where some of the hottest drag artists compete to be the next drag Belinda Carlisle for one night. The competition will be hosted by Steve Denyer and judged by Belinda Carlisle herself with esteemed judges from the London scene by her side.
There will be a short track performance from Belinda herself during the course of the evening and all the proceeds from the event will go to address animal welfare in Kolkata, India where they will be used to train vulnerable people as animal carers so they can earn a living wage helping address neglect or cruelty.
A limited number of ‘Meet & Greets’ will also be available for an additional donation and these will be made available nearer the date (Subject to T&C’s) – Please note that you will need to have purchased a normal ticket through Eventbrite to be eligible for any M&G.
