If you think you can wail like Whitney, roll In the deep like Adele, funk like Bruno or, run the world like Beyoncé then this is the competition for you.
In a gay scene first, the world-renowned Royal Vauxhall Tavern will play host to this one-night-only celebration of Soul and R&B music hosted by Son Of a Tutu – an award-winning LGBTQ+ artist who started out ten years ago after winning a drag competition (so they know the drill all too well) and who has gone on to become one of the most widely loved and adaptable LGBTQ+ artists in the UK.
Everyone is welcome to apply. As long as you got soul and are LGBTQ+. Whether you’re a solo singer, a group or drag artist(s); male, female, non-binary, white, black, brown or Buddhist monk. You got soul, you’re in.
Entrants should choose two Soul/R&B songs to perform live on the night – one slow, one upbeat.
The contest will be judged by a panel of LGBTQ+ industry experts.
Full gig at The RVT, with mentoring, for the winner + more to be announced.

Doors open at 7pm. Show from 8.30pm.
