Queer Music Agency

Queer Music Agency (QMA) is inviting you to join their first ever showcase at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern!

Experience an amazing night filled with talented artists within different genres! QMA represents both upcoming and established queer artists and we can’t wait for you to see them perform on a night that you’ll never forget.

QMA is the only music agency in the world to solely represent queer artists. We represent artists and DJ’s across all genres from 80s synthpop to hip hop and from techno to classical music.

We aim to create more diversity in the music industry, as well as a strong community for queer artists, who are all too often neglected. Our efforts will hopefully bring new musical experiences and a better balance in the music industry, so more queer artists can make a living from music.

We kindly ask you to respect your fellow concert-goers and the staff. We have a zero tolerance policy to any form of harassment and if someone is making you feel uncomfortable then please notify the staff. Respect people’s pronouns and physical boundaries. No homophobia, transphobia, sexism or racism is accepted.

Line-up:

Asbjørn

Not a boy, not quite a man. Bonafide pop but a maverick in the mainstream. Ever since his 2012 debut album Sunken Ships, Asbjørn has been a poster boy of the unconventional. His self-exposing lyrics offer radio-length sex education wrapped in adventurous yet highly infectious pop production.

Brave James

Unafraid to be unique, newcomer Brave James blends dreamy alt-pop, maximalist electro production and multi-layered psychedelic vocal harmonies as they whip up a whirlwind of multi-generational influences into a sound that sits right at home in 2022. Those traits both flourish and prosper in their debut album ‘BE BRAVE’.

Reveal Party

Reveal Party writes songs about existing in a chaos of complicated feelings, and how sometimes you need to cut all ties with them when they get too tough to handle. »Cut your feelings, like me«, is Emily’s quiet advice in her opening number on her debut EP ‘You Stole a Year of My Life’. Reveal Party tells stories of love and her life as a trans woman with a tongue-in cheek, piercing sarcasm. Her source of inspiration is both midwest emo and uplifting pop-songs, and therefore Reveal Party’s music both invites in melancholy and hope.

Sander Sanchez

Sander Sanchez musical style is dynamic and soulful and inspired by a higher meaning with poetic depth delivered by a strong and mesmerising vocal. He loves reflexive lyrics that gives a platform to his innermost feelings. His aesthetic is inspired by a colourful and light bending universe. Sander is flows elegantly into 80’s pop, hip hop-blues, soul, r&b, ambient, funk and EDM that collides into an explosive and fully moulded expression.

Mylder

The music of Danish Mylder is low-fedelity sound, instrumental minimalism and nostalgic synth. His lyrical themes spans from the complexities of social reality to simple queer love. Mylder has written music all through 2010’s but his work first got available in the first part of 2020’s. The lo-fi dream folk songs of Mylder has gotten acclaim from established songwriters and musicians in Denmark like Michael Møller (Moi Caprice), Marie Fisker, Kira Skov and Simon Kvamm (Nephew).
