On Wednesday 7th September, HomeGround and KateBushNews.com are teaming up with The Royal Vauxhall Tavern, London’s iconic LGBTQ+ venue and a host of amazing cabaret performers to celebrate the music of Kate Bush and to raise money for Cabaret vs Cancer.
2022 has been an amazing year for Kate Bush and her fans, with Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God) topping the charts in the UK and all over the world, thanks to it’s creative use in the smash Netflix show Stranger Things, and this is the perfect time for HomeGround/KateBushNews.com to return to The RVT for another Kate themed night.
The show will feature exclusive performances of Kate songs from a stunning line up of acts, including, Jonathan Hellyer, cabaret superstar and the man behind The D.E Experience, Ginny Lemon, TV sensation and drag rebel, Sadie Sinner – The Songbird, host and founder of The Cocoa Butter Club, Sooz Kempner, amazing vocalist and fantastic stand up, Rose Garden with Phil Lawrence, much loved drag star who has performed at the last three HomeGround RVT events, A Fat Child, amazing new drag talent first seen at The RVT in NADC… and the whole thing will be hosted and held together by the amazing Michael Twaits, cabaret legend, host of Pride’s Got Talent and Pride at Trafalgar Square.
This event is a fundraiser for Cabaret vs Cancer, with the money raised from tickets sales going to help families, especially children cope with the effects of cancer, plus there will be a raffle and collection on the night.
