LOVE FROM THE PINK PALACE: An evening of cabaret and memoir from Jill Nalder

Join Jill Nalder and friends for a special cabaret event to celebrate the publication of her memoir, Love From the Pink Palace.

Jill Nalder was the inspiration behind the character Jill Baxter in Russell T Davies smash hit Channel 4 series It’s a Sin and appeared in the show as Jill’s mum.

This will be a delightful evening of readings, conversation and cabaret. It’s A Sin’s Jill Nalder tells the true story of her life during the AIDS crisis, and that of friends and colleagues, doctors and nurses, activists and fundraisers. She recounts juggling a busy West End career while campaigning for AIDS awareness and research, educating herself and caring for the sick. Most of all, she shines a light on those who were stigmatised and shamed, and remembers those brave and beautiful boys who were lost too soon.

Doors at 7pm, show from 8pm.

Do not miss this special evening exploring memories of love, loss and cabaret with Jill Nalder from It’s a Sin.

Advance tickets are £8 plus booking fee, a contribution will be made to The Terrence Higgins Trust from the ticket money.

This will be a mixed standing/seated event, seats on a first come first serve basis on the night. If you have accessibility requirements please email dave@vauxhalltavern.com
