Juliet Jacques is a journalist, filmmaker and the author of Trans: A Memoir, which was shortlisted for The Polari First Book Prize 2016. Her latest book is a volume of short stories, Variations (Influx Press, 2021).
Kevin Maxwell is the author of Forced Out: A Detective’s Story of Prejudice and Resilience (Granta 2020), which describe his experiences as a black gay man working for the Met. The book is shortlisted for The Polari First Book Prize 2021.
