This film contains one of the most iconic role by Meryl Streep (and lets face it, she MADE this film) as Miranda Priestly – the ice cold, demanding, unreasonable fashion editor of Runway, who gives Emily (‘My name is Andy’) a hugely rough ride as her newest assistant.
Packed full of iconic lines and moments, who can forget the tortuous scene in which Andy futilely attempts to engage an airline, any airline, to fly Miranda back from an Island in which a hurricane is raging whilst Miranda icily tells her ‘I don’t understand.. it’s just drizzle!’
